Deceased friend in dreams

OK, so in grade 7 my best friend died, and most thought it was a suicide, but i highly doubt it was, and it looked like an accident

He was found in his closet with his neck and arm strangled in a cadet belt which was hanging in his closet.

He was really a great friend of mine, and since he died, ive been seeing him in everday objects, and in my dreams. Like sometimes i see his face, and eyes looking at me in the corner of my eye, here and then.

I know its him looking down on me, i had a dream the night after he died and i told him not to enter a barn (which in the dream was hell) it was all very odd, and he was talking about heaven or something, it all hard to remember it was a dream the day after he died.

Anyways last night i had a dream with him in it, and it was the first one in a while. We were at a school in the dream, but my friend looked just as old as me (17 now) as if he had aged since he died. (he died at the age of 12, he was almost 13)

Its weird to see him in this way, as the same age as me, because the last time i saw him he was dead at the age of 12 in his casket.

We always have fun and talk in these dreams, and i dont realize until the next day that he was in the dream and that in reality he is dead.. he seems so alive in these dreams.. im sure its his spirit visiting me.

Anyone else experienced such a thing, and think mabye it really is my friend visiting me in my dreams?

Wow. It hasn't happened to me, but, one of my best friend's died, playing chicken, when I was 13, I think, he was a few months older.

Maybe, that's what you want, so you're trying to get it through your dreams. It may be your husband and he's telling you that someone will come to be with you.

Who's to say? After thinking about my dreams for several years personally, I've about come to the conclusion they're just 'brainvomit'. I've never gained any real world rational insight from them, but I'm sure, in some form or another, they are like an emotional pressure value. Your psyche needs an outlet for repressed emotions and anxieties so our minds do the venting in our dreams.

Obviously you suffered a very traumatic experience at a tender age and you were left without closure. Maybe your mind is trying to give you that closure....or what the hell, maybe your friend is Our childhood friendships are the strongest. Mine were--like the movie 'Stand by Me'. I still dream about my boyhood friends and the portion of life we went through together, even though they are still alive.

So yes...I would say your friend is visiting you. He will always be apart of you no matter what. His influences shaped you as a person for the rest of your life. So you own it to him to go out and live a spectacular life! --for both of you because he was robbed of his so young! Do all the great things he would want for you, because you will always carry him with you. When you're out there in life kickin' ass n' takin' names think about him giving you a big thumbs up! :thumbsup:

Years back I was (still am), very interested in lucid dreaming and I practiced this for a while. Practicing this basically means trying to get lucid dreams working. During this time, one of my best friends died.

So a few weeks after he died, I had my first breakthrough with lucid dreaming:

I was in my dream sitting at a kitchen table with two friends. During this conversation, I had this constant feeling that something was out of place. I tried very hard to lay my finger on it and then I realized, one of the friends I was talking to, died weeks before. At that moment I realized I was dreaming and the dream shifted from a blurry normal kind of dream, to a very specific, hardedged, colored dream. The fact that I was talking to my dead friend really upset me and I quit practicing at that time. For weeks after, I was still trying to figure out what happened to me.

Was it just a dream? Something else and if so, what ? What does dead mean etc etc..

This happened 10 years ago and its since a couple of weeks that I have found the courage again to take up practicing again.

It's very hard with these experiences to say whats real and whats not.

Wow dude thats really erie....They say that if you have a dream like that, then the person is ACTUALLY try to communicate with you in your dreams. Thats crazy dude. You've done well telling him not to go inside the barn:thumbsup: . Thats probably what it was... Keep trying to contact him man, see if you can help him, as weird as that sounds.

Interesting, You are describing something rather profound, Like you have some kind of gift here. There are dreams and visions. Visions usually include the understanding of what things are in real/ unreal time. It's like words of knowledge are in operation at the same, It's like a download.......most factors are already defined and understood.

Dreams are a totally different story, they require much more from us than we possess at the time. They are for searching out. also, bits and pieces will be revealed, as time and the appropriate season is there, the Holy Spirit turns the light switch on to reveal both together. This is why the more mature, dream dreams (revelational dreams), and the younger see visions.

Of coarse this includes women and daughters.

I'll never forget many of mine, three visions were demonic during a time of harassment on and off over about ten years. But, the ones that come to mind regularly are those that exactly showed the state I was in or am still. A unique panorama. I still deal with these issues. But, they add alot to my library, of which I can continue to glean. Some issues for 25 yrs now. Hard headed comes to mind. Health affected, financial losses easily into 6 figures.........easily. He cares deeply, so he relates very specifically. The prophets always asked for revelation. My favorite time is moments before I go to bed. In the morning hrs, downloads come. They are so encouraging. Somehow I get dragged down into the day. I have had countess......I mean that countless, dreams, whatever, dealing with the same stupid issue. It's like.........Come-on... God, I got a get past this, I'm sure there's better STUFF to move onto. It's like the proverbial birthright and the bowl of soup.

I had a vision of me standing under a tree. Strange.... I was reflecting on this yesterday. Well........The beginning....I opened my eyes in the vision, (not physically) to find myself standing under the tree, But, I freaked out....Big time from the very moment It started........ I was at a college campus, It was test day. and I just realized that I was a student there. I somehow just then realized it. I had never been to class, studied, etc.....I saw many students walking with purpose, to classes, library, whatever. It shocked me.

Personally,.....I had been busy updating my own house and my ride for years. I'll guarantee that my own heart was racing, and I'll bet that we all know what this means.


Satan, seated at the beginning of a long table. It was a soup line. A large pot was in front him. Catch this.... people were walking up with their own bowls, for soup. I realized this the other day. We bring our own bowls for a nothin trade..... Satan was wiping his brow from the near exhaustion of the "business" at hand. Esau gave his brother Jacob, his birthright with an oath, for a bowl of soup. It did pass on to Jacob, though he was younger...cheap cheap trade. I was seeing this from the rear, but I know I've been in the line alot myself. . . . . . . . .

I had a shroom trip the other day, and i must say... i am 100% sure my friend was right there with me...

I even saw his brother (who is alive) in a car drive by me, and look straight into my eyes... before i saw him, i looked into the lights of the car, and felt the presence of my friend.... when i looked up into the passenger seat, and saw his brother, it was so shocking.

Its very hard to explain my frineds presence.... i will look at an object, and feel his presence as if he is inside of the object... its strange... and its been happening alot more these days...

While i was shroom tripping i remember everytime i would put on this red sweater, i could feel Jesse(my friend) INSIDE of me.

I would look around the room and feel him there with me..

Its odd as hell because during a concious state i NEVER see his actual face... more like i see his spirit, and feel his spirit.... its only in dreams that i see him in his former body... but aged the same as me.


I know he is with me always... its as if he held onto me after death so he could visit me, and let me know hes there with me.

Crazyness... i just know i will meet up with him after i die.

And whoever said he might be in limbo... i really think that might be.

the first time a close friend of mine dide, was 12/20/2004. rough moment for me. kid i had known since 5th grade. i had just seen him too up at my job, asking me if i was looking for green too while his family shopped.

a few weeks later, i heard he had died. soon after, i had a dream that i saw him in the high school we went to. i was like "you died man." and he stared at me like i was crazy and said "nah man, no i didnt". a while later i had another where it was same situation, but not at school. havent had one since but i still think of him from time to time.
