World Cup Aftermath
Right on..I new you were kidding. Nice to see another US soccer fan...who tokes too.
Yeah we need a new coach. Wynalda would be cool or John Harkes somebody who knows their shit and has been there. I'm hoping that maybe one of those dudes will be an assistant coach and we can get somebody who has proven management skills internationally and then Wynalda and Harkes can provide the american influence.
But we also need some players..like the kind who will bust their asses in Europe even if they don't play...they still will be practicing and training at a level that we need them to play at.
I thought Convey and Dempsey and Eddie Johnson did well..they were taking guys on and going for goal. We HAVE to be able to score.
I think Arena held on too long to guys that although are great US players, just don't have the pace anymore..like Reyna and Pope for instance.
For us to compete, the team has to make up what it lacks in skill with fitness..for that you can't have guys over 30 out there realistically.
we'll see what happens now..
