    Muahaha. Suckers must pay.

And so will Materazzi. Maybe. Possibly. Sorta. It's actually like 50/50.

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/st...373838&cc=5901

'Both players have been summoned to attend a face-to-face hearing before the disciplinary committee at FIFA headquarters in Zurich on Thursday, 20 July.'
That's coming so soon! I love it. It's like a post-World Cup soap opera.

    Any thoughts on the outcome?

hopefully Zidane isn't stripped of the best player award...
since Fifa doesn't decide theres a chance he may loose it
it's a good thing he has tons of supporters backing him though..
i'm not sure about the Materazzi situation,
but i think it apparent he perpetuated the conflict throughout the game..
just wish zinedine waited until after the game..

But Zidane said a number of times : "If I didn't do anything, then that means that Materazzi was right by what he said, and I couldn't have that as a man."

I definitely respect his decision, but I don't think a lot of France will. He could have at least been a TAD more discrete in how he went about laying out that fuck. Oh well.

Yeah, i'm kind of on Zidane's side on this one, and after seeing the Italians dive all day long, im know im not the only person that was kinda happy when he did it.

Anyways...Headbut on the field = red card

Headbut off the field = Jail.
