hey i think my plant is ready somebody help please
Hello,
This is the classic example as to why you can not soley use the pistils for deciding when the plant is ready to harvest.
With the use of a 30X jewelers loop you can get good closeup views of the trichomes. This is the only way that you can know for absolutely sure. The trichomes will be either clear, cloudy, and amber. I prefer to harvest my plants when the majority of the glands are cloudy with a small percentage amber.
If the glands are all clear its immature.
If the glands are alll amber its overmature.
Cloudy with a small amount left clear and a small amount amber gives a well balanced bud.
Cloudy with a good amount of clear is more of an up-high.
Cloudy with a good amount of amber is more of a couch-lock.
If you need some links for the info let me know. I'll try to find exactly where I got this guideline from.
Hope this helps.
Peace
