How long should you hold each hit in????

I used to not even exhale. Then I read most of the THC is absorbed like after 5 seconds so yeah I exhale now..

I didnt think it makes a difference most of the THC goes into your body as soon as you inhale, i just inhale and exhale normally like breathing

does this mean im not getting all of the THC?

I cap it at 8 seconds for a solid bong load. Lesser hits get proportionally less holdage.:stoned:

i usually hold it 3-5 seconds, thc is absorbed almost on contact so no need to hold in the xtra tar and such

I have my friends put duct tape around my mouth and nose then when I'm dead, they use shock paddles on me to bring me back to life. That way, I definitely held the hit in long enough.
