I think the answer has to do with where you live, and what kind of climate you're in. I would seriously worry about mold issues, as the saran wrap will hold in too much moisture. If I'm not mistaken, cannabis seems to enjoy a bit of a drier climate. Especially when in flower, as that is when alot of mold issues come into play in the more humid environments.
Also, what it comes right down to is that if there are mites around, they'll get in, because as soon as you open the saran wrap covering to tend to your plants, they'll make their way in. And rodents can easily chew through it. The best bet is to keep your grow healthy and to keep a close eye on it and stop any infestation as it happens and before it gets out of control.
I know there's one person here who's had good luck with mite control using strips. On my outside herbs, I had a mite infestation on my comfrey and I got it quickly under control using an organic insecticidal soap (Safer brand) washing the plant down with it then rinsing later in the day. Mites can be eradicated quickly if they're caught quickly. Tend to your grow like it was your child and it'll be fine without the saran wrap
Good luck!

thanks for the help..although rodents would not get in because under the sarene wrap is chicken wire but i have a new idea..i have a bunch of glass sheets lying around what if i surronded it with those instead of shitty sarene wrap? im not to concerned about mites getting in because i will hardly ever have to open it up..my dad used to grow and has these amazing auto water devices that water your plants up to 4 weeks straight so anymore input would be helpful
thanks again

just get four poles line it up to the size you want bang them in the ground run chicken wire around it! then run some wire over the top like a box sun can still get in no matter what way the sun is rottatening at the time stop's animals from getting in and you dont have to be opening and closeing shit ever time you water them to hide them a little better paint it in green and thats all you need to do that's all i have done for the last 5years of growing bush!
