Here's the deal with Purple Haze or purple weed in general

-Some of the most potent strains are purple. Some of the most potent strains are green. Not all green strains are potent. Not all purple strains are potent. In other words, just because it's purple doesn't mean it is great weed.

-Purple weed is considerably rarer than green weed so dealers like to make a big deal out of it when they get it and then charge higher prices. Just remember the first point- just because it's purple doesn't mean it is great weed.

-Purple Haze does exist. It is a distinct strain and is sold in many cannabis clubs for medical use. It is not the original Purple Haze sold in the '70
s, however.

-99% of what is sold on the street as "Purple Haze" is probably just some random purple weed that the dealer gives a fancy name to so he can get more money. Remember the first point just because it's purple doesn't mean it is great weed.

- Weed prices vary greatly depending on where you live. Asking for a price comparison from people all over the world is sensless. For example newone states "LOL.... 120 should get u half o if anything..." Well, I'm not sure where he is from but here in San Francisco 120 won't get you a 1/2 of anything. Then again, 5.4 grams for $120 does sound too expensive. Here, in SF, the most I've ever paid was $210 for a 1/2(14 grams) but that was the most potent weed I've ever smoked (and I've been smoking a long, long time ).
