Air Tight Seal?
Hey everyone, I want to grow marijuana and store it until there is a drout in the neighborhood to make sure that i sell for top dollar. I saw this air tight compresser on an infomercial and if the potency would be reduced at all if the marijuana is stored in one pound bags with an air tight seal?
Has anyone ever tried this, and how long until the marijuana goes bad, if ever?

you mean like a vacuum packer
you place ya stuff in the bag then place in the vacuum packer
it then sucks all the air out of the bag and seals it
i know butcher shops use them for storing meat but im not too sure how weed
would react to that
would be interesting to find out
cheers all

Don't worry about storing your crop until you have a crop to store!

tupperware layer some papertowel on the bottom (use like a cake container t will hold up to 1lbs) place some orange peel on the bottom then top w paper towel and peel (like 2 oz fresh weight) then burp and seal store in fridge ck every 2 weeks just to ensure no mold. once buds reach desired softness (no more then a week) remove peels replace paper towel and youll be ready for a years storage - remember dont let peel touch buds directly - email me J

do not store in plastic for long term and NEVER store in the freezer!
for like the umpteenth time posted here...store in glass jars with a rubber seal. "mason" or "ball" jars (aka fruit jars) work best and keep it stored in a cool dark place...like the bottom shelf of the fridge. and keeping fruit peels with your cannabis can cause mold due to the sugars in it. if it gets too dry, use lettuce (the best is fresh leaves off your pot plant) and remove it after 24 hours.

but if stored in fruit jars it will stay as fresh as the day it was 1st put in so there should be no need to add moisture and taking the chance of ruining the stash with mold.

i agree glass jars work very well... i use them all the time.
BUT, i use them only for as long as i am going to be smoking that certain batch (month at most).
He wants to store for a long time.... i would dry it as best as posible, seal it in a freezer bag and freeze it.. ive dont it before and i know many that have.
One thing tho, NEVER put bud in a glass jar and place the glass jar in freezer/fridge. You will ruin your bud.
Peace
