You can take one seed and do the gentle crush method to see if there is moisture in the seed. You will destroy one seed this way but if you need to check the rest it works. Some even use the gentle crush method to speed up germination. I would not recommend it for most people, it takes a feel to just crack the shell and not damage the seed pod inside the shell.

ya i was just wondering about germination rate not trying to sex them...i was wondering if the germination rate is higher on dark seeds than on white seeds...which so far they are cause i had about 15 dark seeds and 5 white and so far 3 dark germinated and 0 white ones have...
