start growing outdoors in July????

If i start some seeds outdoors, real simple, just put a lot of middies seeds under the soil, in one spot, do i still have time for the growing season? .

Best to start seeds indoors, just like for a vegetable garden.
Don't put them all in one spot- they will be crowded and sickly.

Can a plant grow from july to august .

You're not going to see the start of flowering until night lasts more than 12 hours, which is the autumnal equinox.

BTW where in the Northeast are you located?
