Well what im trying to ask is if its better to use rockwool, perlite, or other mixes for the roots to grow in. Do you HAVE to water with nutes? Do you HAVE to spray with nutes? Or will water work ok? I was just going to do the cuts, dunk in root powder (dont know what kind im gunna get yet, does walmart sell any good stuff?), and slap them in rockwool for a week with water until roots appear.

When I have them sexed and have a healthy plant, I am going to want to clone it until I have around 5-10 females under my 400 HPS.
