can u fertilize a shoot and get a seed from it?
Like maybe cut it off the plant and put in water and let some pollen into it. since it's technically dead would it not work?

well, it takes two people to make a baby, male and female. It's the same with MJ plant. you need a male plant and a female plant to make seeds. When you are taking a cutting from a plant, you will be taking it from either a female plant or a male plant, so NO, you can't make a woman pregnant without sperm from male.

I meant assuming you had a male present releasing pollen, could u fertilize just a shoot and not a whole female plant?
