thanks for the replies thus far fellas, yes i am trying to get a quick answer =)

i understand that some plants are better than others even if they are from the same seed packet, but im trying to get a down to the point answer.

if i purchased a packet of seeds from a seedbank (durban poison for an example, again), and allowed 2 or more of them to pollenate each other, would the seeds produced through that be durban poison seeds and thus grow more durban poison plants minor differences aside, or would they be some kind of totally different trashweed?

some help with terminology would also be appreciated.

what does stabilized vs unstabilized in the world of seed mean and how do i tell? are the seeds purchased from seedbanks stabilized or unstabilized, if both what are examples of each?

f1 & f2? im guessing f1's are the original seeds and f'2 are the seeds produced from the plants grown using the f1's?

again thanks for any replies.
