Uh, why ask if you can do it if you're just waiting for someone to tell you what you want to hear?

This is what can and will go wrong:

You're trying to grow in a real tight area.
There's electrical cords, lights, and fans around.
You're going to be watering your plants.
I bet there is almost no one who has been growing for a while who HASN'T inadvertently spilled water on something that shouldn't get wet... I've popped circuit breakers before, I'm sure I will again, you will too. That's why in my state the bathroom and kitchen, where there is water, are required to have not only regular breakers on the main panel, but GFI breakers on the outlets in the room. That's ground-fault interruption. I had the circuits in my growroom changed to GFIs for just this reason. And I installed another smoke alarm. And now I sleep better at night.

And what if a cord heats up? Someone I know had their house burn down because a power cord got kinked under a piece of furniture and shorted. They weren't even growing, it was just a regular lamp cord drawing low amps.

I really believe that for the amount of bud you're going to get with a tiny tiny grow, give yourself a chance and find a nice outdoor space where you can have big beautiful plants.
