A lack of saliva can help promote tooth decay.

I would first suggest dental attention for your cavity before you lose your tooth altogether.

If you're smoking and have cotton mouth and experience pain, you could try a warm salt water rinse for relief.
tootsie roll Reviewed by tootsie roll on . Cotton Mouth Cavities? Well I was wondering when you get cotton mouth while high does that effect your tooth some how? When ever I seem to get high and get cotton mouth my cavities sorta kills my high by 5% from the pain that my cavitie all of a sudden feels. It hurts worse when I'm high than when I'm sober . Rating: 5
