i've learned to roll the perfect conical joint with NO paper overlap, paper makes it harsh imho, although without overlap the thing burns too fast. i might make it overlap once or whatever, but the technique i learned doesn't really allow for it. you actually flip the paper over and start witht he gummed edge facing down, it's all backwards. you lick the gummed edge through the overlapping paper, then you burn off the excess.
i also use a roach from a roach book...man i love the joints i roll. but i can't do one right now, my last bag was expensive. plus my camera is out of commission at the moment!

Naw man, Corpus area forever but I used to work some offshore rigs in my younger sandblasting daze. Coincidentally on a Marine Drilling rig there was this motorman that I used to meet out on the heliport late at night when the wind was right every now and again but it wasn't you, the guy would have to be like 70 by now. I think drivin, drinkin and rollin at the same time must be a Texas thang.
