I can roll a really good spliff everytime. Its all about consistancy people.

i've learned to roll the perfect conical joint with NO paper overlap, paper makes it harsh imho, although without overlap the thing burns too fast. i might make it overlap once or whatever, but the technique i learned doesn't really allow for it. you actually flip the paper over and start witht he gummed edge facing down, it's all backwards. you lick the gummed edge through the overlapping paper, then you burn off the excess.

i also use a roach from a roach book...man i love the joints i roll. but i can't do one right now, my last bag was expensive. plus my camera is out of commission at the moment!

Heck ,I used to roll a doobie while driving,change out the 8-track tape and hold onto a beer,all at the same time..lol. And that was when I was 16 !

I agree rolling skillz is a dying art... when I wus 16 I cud roll a proper doob in a bar while slinging a ice cold draft and getting High score on the Pot Luck Poker PinBall machine...

Well..the weed don't grow on trees,but it is pretty cheap,I can git an oz for 50 -70 bucks an oz,of pretty fair skunk-brick and mex-brick,as well as good deals on un-compressed weed,from time to time. Still..I can't afford to roll biguns everytime,but when my friends want to git really stoned,they ask me to roll a doobie..lol.

Naw man, Corpus area forever but I used to work some offshore rigs in my younger sandblasting daze. Coincidentally on a Marine Drilling rig there was this motorman that I used to meet out on the heliport late at night when the wind was right every now and again but it wasn't you, the guy would have to be like 70 by now. I think drivin, drinkin and rollin at the same time must be a Texas thang.

Heck,I used to live in Corpus Christi,back in the 60's,when I was just a kid..lol. Dang...I wish I could git back into roughnecking,the pay is better than ever ! I did most of my roughnecking around Austin,drillin the Austin chalk formation..sure do miss them slow-drillin days !

I bet yer right--about the "Texas thang"..lol.
