Pretty nice stunner. Have they started to flower yet? I wonder if you could recommend an outdoor strain for mid michigan where it frosts mid sept to oct 1st?
Which strain are yours? Did you amend the soil before planting? Do you add ferts? Have any probs with bugs or mold last year? Sorry for being nosy, but outdoor growing is something i always wanted to do, but never had a place until now, so i'm doing the research while i have the time before next spring. Good job. Are you gonna show off some huge, arm long, bud and cola shots in the future? Peace

Thnx for the compliments, hard work does pay off! These plants are in 35 gallon containers! The soil in the ground wasn't good. It mostly constists of clay and it just has poor drainage qualities. Next year i will dig a big a huge hole with a tractor to see what these babies can really do!
As for the soil, any potting soil will do the trick. Make shure its clean and UNUSED. A rule of thumb: never clumpy, muddy, and will break up after a firm squeeze easily.
As for strand, GOO plants are sativas that love the outdoors. Its a plant that yealds big and everyone that i know loves the flavor. Expect 2lbs or better with each plant.
As for fertilizer, Is my secret. But a good one is Foxfarm. It will grow a very healthy plant. I add fert. every-other time I water. Let your soil dry out a little between waterings.
