Harvesting !!! Need HELP !!!
I would flush with distilled water, then let the soil dry completely, and leave it dry for a coule days before harvest.
Everyone has their own trick that they use.
I personally don't see how the darkness would help, although it has been noted that light degrades THC therefore any fresh resin produced in the last couple days would have no chance to degrade if left in the dark.\"Careful what you carry- \'cause the Man is wise- you are still an outlaw in their eyes\" -Steely Dan

Harvesting !!! Need HELP !!!
ITs all al matter of pref.
I have chopped them at the stem at the end of the day and at the beginning.
I have trimmed, shaved, crushed, blah blah blah...
Curing is more for smoothness, aroma and flavor...does little to the stone you will get.
Flushing is desireable if you used anything other than organic nutes. One week prior, as stated above, is correct time table wise, but over rated unless you were a heavy nuter.
In fact, some of the absolute best smoke I ever grew, was an accidental death.
I was away for 2 days, in the spring, and the temps rose to like 65 degrees outside and the night before was like 35 degrees.
So when I came to see my girls, I open my box and WHAM! All were as dry as a fresh box of corn flakes.
They died and dried right there where they were blooming. 18 hours MAX!Crispy even!
Some of the best, smoothest and hard hitting stuff I ever grew.
Go figure...

3 days dark prior to cut, hang for 3 days, trim, put into paperbags for a week then into glass jars.

Harvesting !!! Need HELP !!!
I like to get the most bang for my buck so I have recently switched to pumping my ladies full of nutrients until I cut, then water cure for a week.
It takes away the smell and taste BUT it is so smooth the smoke is silky.
To each his own...
