    Haze

So I visited my favorite growshop a week ago for some equipment and some Santa Maria clones. The guy there commented on a haze strain that was unbelievably good. He gave me a sample to try which was very nice I think.

So next morning, before going to work, I roll a little one. I do this sometimes and dont have any problems with it, and my boss hasnt as well. While driving away I got some doubt and decided to keep the joint for the way home.

5 o'clock, time to leave, I enter my car, lit the joint, smoke it half and continue driving home. After half a mile I had to stop the car and just lay back with closed eyes. I havent been this stoned since a long time and I'm a daily smoker since many years.

So obviously I drove to the growhop after being able to drive again and the guy started lauging to my face when I told him what happened. To cut a long story short, I'm getting some seedlings next monday.

I have a couple of questions and hope someone will be so nice to answer

    1) The taste of this strain is very specific, very citron like. The only strain I smoked before that seemed somewhat like it, was a strain called Crystal Clear which was popular in some areas in Holland about 12 years ago. This citron taste, I've heard different opinions. Some say its the taste of some specific strains. Some people say, its because of citral acid added to the water during the last two weeks of flowering.

    2) In my favorite coffeeshop, they are now selling this Haze for 10 euro (about $10) per gram. To compare, all other strains including white widow, are 6.50 euro per gram. I've read this is because haze has a much smaller yield than other strains. Is this true?

    3) This is a real newbie question but anyway, would it be worthwhile to cross bubblegum with haze? I did grow before but never messed around with any advanced technique like crossing.

    Thanks in advance

    Haze

Haze is in my top 10 favorite strains.

That taste is from the haze.
I call it an earthy spice.
    But it's skunky too.
    I just got Sour D x SSHaze,

Go ahead and cross it to bubbleberry.
    The yield isn't that small.
    Espacially in a hybrid.
Super silver haze is probably one of the easier hazes to grow indoors.
    It gets tall.
So flower those clones right away.
    As soon as they root.
Put them into 12/12 or they will get too tall for indoors.

    Thanks a lot for answering!

    Clear thanks.

One question though, putting the clones right away to a 12/12 cycle, its probably not a good idea to put them under HPS or even MH right away because I would probably burn them. Would you recommend keeping them under a half a dozen 16w cool white tubes for a week or so?

what are the wattages on your HPS or MH
if u can put clones under those lights go for it
just suspend them up a little high or get like a 400 watt thats not to hot

MH=400 so thats ok then, the hps is 600. I can put the light as far as 4.7 ft away from the plants, should be enough I guess.

    Haze

So this very nice guy in the growshop gave me 4 purple haze seeds. For outdoors he commented. Well, since I am unable to grow outdoors, I'm willing to give them a try indoors. So I was thinking as follows:

    - germinate seeds
    - have them in veg
    - sex plants
    - make one female mother
    - take clones
    - flower them

    Right on?

    That would be fine.
Infact. That is the best way to flower sativa's.
    From Clone.
Otherwise your lant would touch the cieling.
The only reason he said to grow it outside.
Is the hieght and long flowering time.
    But your plan will work.
Thats what I do with big sativa's.

Keeping it under the floro's is a good idea.
Just let them root real good.
    Thats the key.
And raise the light about 12 inches for the first couple days.
