If window light is useless?

What's the deal with this? WHy do people keep saying windowlight will do NOTHING?

Window Lights may be good for germinating and growing small seedlings (and possibly vegging if enough light) But for flowering it'd either be recommended you just grow them outside directly getting exposed to the sun light or get a HID to grow them. Thats if you want worth-while buds.
