Picture of my cabinet so far... now how to handle air flow?
Most important thing is to have a flow of air going through. So youll want a fan blowing in fresh air at the bottom, and a fan sucking out hot air at the top opposite side. The cool tube will remove hot air, but radiant heat will still heat your plants. you really have to play around with fan powers until they can handle the heat ur cabinet creates. Intake holes must be big enough to supply ample air flow, so having more sucking out and creating suction isnt all that great, as there will be less air coming through the intake.
Jkrustie Reviewed by Jkrustie on . Picture of my cabinet so far... now how to handle air flow? So as you can see I have the bottom 3rdish of the cabinet for the main growing chamber. Its gonna be a scrog setup and the light can go up another 10 inches so it should be a good fit. Not sure if im gonna go with 4 or 6 plants yet, but I think im leaning towards 4. If it matters its an aero-machine type system with a 400watt HPS lamp. I imagine i'll use the middle for all the electronical connections as well as supplies. The top I am hoping to use for a cloning chamber, but I dont think its Rating: 5
