And this is a good thing, because this is my 65th day (9 weeks, 2 days, 2 hours and 40 minutes to be more exact) of abstaining, and I am still getting only a faint line on my home test strips, and occasionally the faint line is almost invisible, such as it was on the day before yesterday.

However todays home test showed the best test line yet, as thick as the control line, but only about half as bold in color as the control line.

A good solid and bright red line is expected soon, and in anticipation of that glorious red line appearing, I have procured, which appears to be, and has the reputation of being something that during my celebratory period will have the opportunity to live up to its reputation
(after I accept the offer and the negative results are produced of course)

well ive been smokeing 3-5 joints a day for the past 10 years. First time i had to take a drug test it was a Hair test. i went and bought the Detox shampoo and a pint of vinager. quite for 3 days applied the shit and rinsed and washed with vinigar except for the final rinse. came out negitive.

Second time i had to piss. i went and bought the Detox drink x2. 1 for the first day of quiting and on 12 hours prior to test. came out negitive.

Heres a good idea to take in to consideration. Buy the drink. read the direction and chug the drink as directed and test aftwords as direct. (meaning if it says drink 2-3 hours prior of the test then test after 2-3 hours)
the one i bought said they'ed double your money back if you fail. it cost me like $30 so if you fail at your house (not droping for work) you get $60 back and if it works you know yoru clean. shit 40+ days of quiting fuck that. id give the drinks a try.

well not sure how picky jobs are (never watched it for a job) but i was on probation for 8 years and the last 2 years i had random drug screens and the PO used a 5 drug tester from BIOTECH. even the drugs iv NEVER done like herion or crack had faint lines its the NO LINERS she don't like and the REALLLLY faint ones. but if she could see a line she would send it to the lab or throw it out and say its good. so another thing tothink about

Would you say you have any serious long term affects? Or has marijuana pretty much been a positive part of your life for the last 30 years?
    Just a semi-joke observation here:

My mom (50+) has been smoking since, who knows, i'm going to say about 30-35 years, and she's going blind now. I mean her multitasking skills are immaculate. She can roll a joint, drive, and talk on the phone all at the same time without flinching, but cannot find the milk in the fridge when it's sitting in front of her. Other than that, I love her to death and she's pretty functional, law-abiding, God-fearing, human being that everyone knows her to be.

Now what I will say, and I understand that everyone bodies works in different ways, when she is on her smoking "kick", she gets a little touchy/attitudish. What can go from "plz vaccum the floor for me luv", can go to "wtf is wrong with you kids, vaccum the #@$# floor #$@##$..." without her daily intake.

So no, I haven't seen my mom brain fry like that egg on that commerical, or drown like the girl in the attic commerical. Besides her flucuations in her mood from not smoking (let's say 3 days-2 weeks@most), she's a beautiful, normal and functioning human being.

Unless it makes you go blind, but let's hope that just old age kicking in

This thread makes me feel warm and fluffy - good luck my friend. I have only been self employed 2 years but damn well intend to keep it that way (hopefully for as long as you) so this is an inspirational thread for sure.

WELL FOR THE FINAL UPDATE ON THIS ISSUE:

After 10 weeks and 2 days of abstainance, my quest had finally come to its end. The red test line had become almost as bold as the control line.
Now take note 72 days since I last burned.

There was no doubt that I could pass any piss test.
I submitted my resume, and was called in for 3 interveiws, and that has been followed by the scheduled drug testing.

However much to my surprise, the test that is in store for me would be the lesser invasive saliva test and not the urine test at all.

Now talk about a real pisser, or actually a no pisser.

A test which to all my research had revealed, has a window of detection for most of the drugs tested for, of about 72 hours maximum, and the test for THC an even shorter window of detection, some reports stating that THC may only be detected for a maximum of a few hours after ingesting, with a saliva drug screen.

With all the interviews out of the way, and the drug test scheduled for the latter part of this week, and no doubt of the outcome, I felt pretty comfortable about this new endeavor.

But you have all heard the warning "be carefull of what you wish for because it may come true"

THIS IS A VERY PROFOUND STATEMENT!!!!!!!

I have mentioned earlier that I have been self employed for most of the last 30 years, mostly in service oriented businesses.

I had a few weeks prior to embarking on this quest of natural cleansing, placed a bid on a job that showed a lot of promise as a very lucrative and career advancing opportunity, but with no immediate response to my bid, I soon dismissed it as a viable outcome and moved on.

Now with the 3rd and final interview over with and the drug test scheduled, I was pretty sure of my new path, I thought as I downed my first beer of the evening, even the downing of the 2nd beer reinforced that feeling, but when I popped the cap on that 3rd beer my phone rang, and sure enough the wish I had once wished for had come true, my bid had been accepted.

Now it was explained that even though my bid had been accepted I would not be obligated, as the date of my offer had expired and if I declined at this time they would just go to the next bidder, but gave me to the end of business on Friday for my final decision.

Now I am faced with a huge decission, do I give in to the man and follow the path of the unknown, and the mental anquish of randoms lurking in the background,

or follow through with a wish come true that allows me the flexability of the lifestyle I have come to relish, and one that has treated me well throughout the years.

Even though it only took only a few minutes to read this, it took much longer to put these word to print, and with that passing of time I have made an executive decission and,

I think it is time to burn that big fat one I once talked about.
