I'm stunned that nobody here has offered the advice for you go see a therapist Lip.

At a minimum I would tell you to go to Alanon, thats AA's cousin, if you know someone else that is an alcoholic its for you.

Unlike AA you can do whatever drugs/drinking you want, I've been and I can tell you that it helps beyond belief to be able to get yer shyt out on to others and have help carrying it.

Matter of fact I still go to a Therapist and I more than likely will keep going till I'm more than thru with my divorce.

Anyway, it's really not a good idea to be smoking [pot] and drinking at the same time. One ulitmately sinks you lower and the other brings you up. The combination isn't really a good one.

Just get yourself involved with something like someone else said. I love reading. Pick up a book about Buddhism or something. It makes you think and you won't be so concentrated on the bad stuff.

i'll god damn drink a bottle of whiskey and then go back to work the next damn day. it doesn't matter if you are hung-over like fuck and throw up or any damn think like that. i do some very physically demanding shit too, and it damn sure hurts, but if you got to survive then you got to suck it up.

drinking works man, if you want to be in a blurr for a while, but thats the extent of it. sometimes i get mean and shit too, which isn't good for the family you know. i made a committment to keep it under control, which is really the only way to use any substance.

im glad you went on a hike dude, thats cool, nothing like the outside and fresh air to make you realize that these computers are honestly worthless and hold no true value of what really exists in this world.

i think apart from excersise and clearing your mind a good thing would be to hang out with your pals and talk it over and have a good time. theyll cheer you up for sure.
