Depressed, Heart Broken and Turning to Alcohol
Ok, so as most of you should know, i much prefer a spliff and a few bong hits to getting drunk, but recently my girlfriend said it'd be better if we were friends. I took it pretty hard. Im slowly getting used to the idea of not talking dirty over the phone and not putting "i love you" at the end of Text msgs.
Only problem is im drinking alot more, every day i drink so much i cant stand up, i havnt been to work for a week, and im drinking more than a bottol of whiskey a day. Im still smoking me daily 1/4 but im fucked with the drinking. I think im becomming an alcoholic.
What should i do? Im in peices.LIP Reviewed by LIP on . Oh dude!
Im so sorry to hear about this.
Your not stupid, so Im not going to go on about how alcohol isn't going to make things better, only worse....
Just try to keep yourself occupied, start going to the gym if possible...maybe take long walks....just find ways (hobbies) to keep you occupied and keep your mind off her. Try doing somthing you wouldn't normally do!
I dont know what else to say dude,
I wish you the best of luck!!
Take Care
Az.

Find something "deep" that you want to know about, learn about it, then create a final draft for others to read. That slows down your drinking.

Hello Lip
Trust me when I say that hitting the bottle will only compound and extenuate your depression. Actually, I guess that smoking dope during this time doesn't help, but hey, I did it lol
Relationship breakups suck. Mine did, and I've got kids too...I guess that my responsibility to them has stopped me from doing 'something silly'...but it comes close some days...
I wish you luck dude, relationships come and go...and bring the joy and heartache that we all 'suffer', but you must remain constant.
Try to look at this in a positive way (hard to do, I know), but thinking that it wasn't meant to be, and maybe 'the one' is still out there waiting for you to find her...

cmon lip
dont let a female
run your emotions
getting drunk helps
but after awhile it gets boring
hiking is the best thing ever
find a fine bitch to hike with
and problem solved
girls can damage guys in bad ways
be stronger and tougher than herLove is patient and kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. Love is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, and it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. Love always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres

yeah man exercise is the ticket. no point in becoming an alcoholic, it's just covering your emotions. you gotta deal with them and move on. exercise really helps take your mind off of anything. go to the gym, go on hikes, whatever it is you do. Peace

I'm sorry she broke up with you..but I believe that everything must happen for a reason. Be it good or bad. And turning to alcohol to solve your problems, dont you think that's proving you're pretty..WEAK?! I'm sure you're a lot stronger than this post makes you seem.. . maybe you should prove to yourself that you're better than that. I wish you the best
