if you are buying 2 1000wtt hids go with the 1000wtt hps for flowering
if you go with the combined 400 hid and 600hps, you lose the size of the area to be used. it all depends on your size of area to be used.

I was going to buy a sun system hps w/ hortilux bulb, but i see that they also make a reflector with 2 sockets - 400wMH and 600wHPS in the same reflector.
