oh! on a side note I finally told my doctor I smoke weed today. I said "well, it seems to be working pretty well when I mix it with cannabis", and he just doesn't bat an eye and says "oh yeah, that's definately a really effective way to keep the pain down" lol.

Actually, cannabis has a synergistic effect with opiates, and tramadol is a synthetic opiate derivative. Yes, you can get addicted to it, however, the w/ds are NOTHING compared to that of any other opiate painkiller...and I should know- I've been on them, and kicked them- all at one time or another....norcos, oxy, dilaudid, fentanyl, tramadol....actually, they usually use tramadol as a 'stepping down' agent when one is dting....however- be careful with your dose. High doses of that crap causes seizures in those prone to them.
