I often see members on here stating that weed doesn't physically harm the brain (which is true) as if that means it won't harm your psyche.

Psychosis: "A severe mental disorder, with or without organic damage, characterized by derangement of personality and loss of contact with reality and causing deterioration of normal social functioning."

Weed can and will cause that. It isn't harmless.

It would help if you first presented evidence, as to what would be considered a severe mental disorder, before expecting your arguement to be considered by even the most naive audience.
