New to Indio / Palm Springs Area

Hey I just moved from the East Coast to the Indio/Palm Springs area. Unfortunately for me, I know nobody yet, and since I am a regular smoker figured this would be a good place to meet people who are likeminded.

I know nothing about dispensaries or anything like that. Looking for a legit ""friend" who can help a bored individual adjust to the Southern California lifestyle and possible meet someone to get the ball rolling.

The desert is pretty, but I'm not even sure where to start or what to do?

Any suggestion for cool places to hang out, chill, meet up with people, or see would be greatly appreciated, as this whole area is new to me. So movie theaters, bars, nightclubs, anything just to experience. I'm a bit tired of moving in and hanging out around the house for technicians and workers to install things like blinds, televisions.

So what's to do in Indio/Rancho Mirage/Palm Desert/Palm Springs?

Anyone wanna help a person out?

actually, in palm springs... tons of good resteraunts and nightclubs.

ATV's/motorbikes etc. are tight

you'll be able to find weed; just go to a club. nOt sure what ones are good there though

I live in Indio.

There are 3 Medical Marijuana dispensaries here in the valley

1. CannaHelp (Palm Desert)
2. CAPS (Palm Springs)
3. Palm Springs Caregivers (Palm Springs)

As to your question, I'm the big 30.

Thanks for the info on despensaries.....now if I could only find an illness, as I'm in good health. Yes minor surgery recently, but minor, and not worth a doctor's time.

Greetings back at ya from Indio myself. The desert, I must say, is a unique experience. At first I didn't think anyone would answer, but low and behold someone in the same town.

So, please, spill on Indio. Cool things to do?
