It was loooooooong and boring. Scenery just doesn't change much from here to Kansas. I was lucky enough to be buzzed on the way over. That made for a smooth drive.
The time with my grandparents and other kin was good as always. It's always about laughter and love on that side of the family. So we just kick back and lounge. It was the first time my wife had constant exposure to my mothers side of the family and it was good. She fits right in.
Drive back was looooooooooong. Ducked two Oklahoma state troopers...they like to sit behind and on entrance ramps out there, especially by some of those side entries to the farms. Picked up some fireworks outside Oklahoma City and had a nice chat with the guy running the stand.
Overall...alot of fun and much needed time away from the office....I said my piece, so now, I hush.

Glad to hear you had a nice trip Calhoun.
Boy is it getting hot down here in Texas, i will always love this great state along with this great forum for all us here texans.
One question though, Where is Torog?

The thermometer on my back porch reads 101 at the moment. I could do with about 30 fewer degrees. And a few days of rain.
