A few feedback questions on my closet grow. First off, space is about 5x5x8, but has some shelving. My question is in regards to my ventilation. I will be exhaust venting through this scrubber: http://cgi.ebay.com/CARBON-AIR-SCRUB...QQcmdZViewItem
I will be hanging this unit and will have ducting attached which will vent through the closet cieling into my attic whic has an attic fan. My intake is where I am I have a question. Can I (is it advisible) take my intake out of the attic also via a fan in the closet cieling? Do you think that the heat and humidity will be too much? I can use a dehumid if needed. I will also have a turbo fan circulating air in the room between the lamp and the plant canopy. I will also have all of my fans running 24/7 so I am not concerned about the lower CFM or should I? Also, if carbon scrubber is not adequate will contemplate getting an ozone gen, but would like to keep this simple as possible. Thanks

PS I will have no more than like 6-7 plants and they will be most likely super skunk.

Dont take air from the attic, it is too hot and will give you temp problems for sure, suck intake from other room (cut hole in wall inside closet, cut hole outside closet farther up in between same studs so there's no light leak)

True 4x5 it's best to get your fresh air from the lowest part you can. Heat raises and cool air falls so the lower the better.

Yes, I realized that, but was trying to avoid cutting another wall rather than ceiling. I have decided to cut intake through next closet and keep it low and out of sight. Need to be stealth as my kids sometimes come in my room and hang with us on the bed for a few. Can't take chances with 14 and 15 yr olds.


Any opinions on growing super skunk (6 plants) and only using the air scrubber I mentioned in the initial post? Think this will be adequate for a 5x6x8 room that is a closet in a master bedroom? I will also have a deionizer (for what little its worth) and running an air purifier which filters the air through water and has scented oils in it. My only concern is when I grew skunk #1 outdoors amny years ago I could smell my plants for what seemed like miles! LOL I am assuming super skunk has the same pungent quality that we skunk lovers oh so desire. Unfortunately, my first grow in about 10 years and I have one of the smelliest strains for an indoor closet grow!

NO...in actuality I will NOT find out because my kids will never smell the MJ. That is the whole point of external ventilation, carbon scrubbing, air ionizer and air purifier. Ozone gen if needed.
