they play like very psychedelic music before like 1970 if u wanna hear that dead then buy the album called "aoxomoxoa" after that its more like mellow rock with awsome long solos they are the first original jam band

    The dead are cool,

    Very long rambling tunes.

Wasn't one of there albums 4 hour's long or is that a myth?

Loved the event of the concerts as well as the concerts. I was going through old records with my roommate who saves everthing. Found a lp with jg but not the band.
It is in mint condition having been stored flat in a dark dry place for thirty years!!!!
Problem is lp players are hard to come by these days. Also found all the cat stevens albums in the same condition.

They could be worth a small fortune. Look after them.

I know I am going to get ripped for this but I HATE the greatful dead. NOw, I have been to a dead show and THAT was cool as hell, but their music just sounds like any old shit from the 70s.there is no originality in their music. sorry
