you want your bud to dry slower not faster!! if it dries too fast it will be harsher to smoke. i always tried to keep the humidity up a bit when drying so it would take at least a week to dry. usually it would dry much faster in the winter months because of the climate i live in, but in the spring and summer when it is very humid, buds could take as long as 2 weeks to dry. when it takes that long you must be careful that they don't mold. imo 7-10 days is about what i like my buds to take to dry. this is not a hobby for the impatient. in my experience any time you try to speed up any part of growing faster than it should be then you will undoubtedly be dissapointed with the end results. i know it's hard to wait for a harvest to be ready to smoke when you have no weed in the mean time but it's definetely worth the wait.
justaseed Reviewed by justaseed on . A theory on drying quicker OK, so most of us here grow for personal and as such arent bothered by the look of the finished product, as long as it does the job. So, if you either ground/cut up the wet bud and dried it as normal, would it dry quicker? Would it affect the potency as well? Cheers peeps :) Rating: 5
