from what i know:
COKE
1. In many states (in the USA) the highway patrol carries two gallons of Coke in the truck to remove blood from the highway after a car accident.
2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days.
3. To clean a toilet: Pour a can of Coca-Cola into the toilet bowl and let the "real thing" sit for one hour, then flush clean. The citric acid in Coke removes stains from vitreous china.
4. To remove rust spots from chrome car bumpers: Rub the bumper with a rumpled-up piece of Reynolds Wrap aluminum foil dipped in Coca-Cola.
5. To clean corrosion from car battery terminals: Pour a can of Coca-Cola over the terminals to bubble away the corrosion.
6. To loosen a rusted bolt: Applying a cloth soaked in Coca-Cola to the rusted bolt for several minutes.
7. To bake a moist ham: Empty a can of Coca-Cola into the baking pan, wrap the ham in aluminum foil, and bake. Thirty minutes before the ham is finished, remove the foil, allowing the drippings to mix with the Coke for a sumptuous brown gravy.
8. To remove grease from clothes: Empty a can of coke into a load of greasy clothes, add detergent, and run through a regular cycle. The Coca-Cola will help loosen grease stains. It will also clean road haze from your windshield.
For Your Info
1. The active ingredient in Coke is phosphoric acid. Its pH is 2.8. It will dissolve a nail in about 4 days. Phosphoric acid also leaches calcium from bones and is a major contributor to the rising increase in osteoporosis.
2. To carry Coca-Cola syrup (the concentrate) the commercial truck must use the Hazardous material place cards reserved for Highly corrosive materials.
3. The distributors of Coca-Cola have been using it to clean the engines of their trucks for about 20 years!
i think ill leave it off my plant for now

I don't know about this coke thing, but I do know that feeding cut flowers (like roses) sprite mixed with a little bit of water, prolongs their life for a looooong time. I had a rose in the sprite/water mixture and it lasted over 2 weeks before turning black. Do you guys think adding sprite to a weed plant's watering regimine would benefit it?

Awwww, come on.
If you want to add sugar, add sugar.
If you want to add CO2, add CO2.
There are tried and true methods of doing both of these things which does not involve exposing your plants to all the artificial CRAP that comes in commerical sodas.

Chisme- I know this method doesnt work:2. You can put a T-bone steak in a bowl of coke and it will be gone in two days. I watched myth busters and they disproved this method.

hey dont knock this down, he could be onto something, if his boss did it with good results, i wouldnt be surprised, coke is about 60% water after all, plus, i remember watching tv once, and it was a gardening program, this was about the time of a hose-pipe ban, and I SWEAR ON MY LIFE the guy said 'if your area has a hose-pipe ban you can buy ice from a shop and leave it to melt, (which i think is just dumb) and you can also use pepsi, or coke to water plants, THIS IS NO JOKE, i grow myself and wouldnt play a dumb trick just to kill other peoples crop, after all, why would i want to reduce the availability of cannabis when i use it myself??? i havent done it myself, but if you really want proof, when my plants grow up some more i'll do a little experiment, okay?

How about you take a bottle of round-up and dilute a quart up to a gallon... it is now 75% water on top of the original water that was already in the stuff, and it will still kill your plants.
Be nice to your plants and give them plant food and drink the coke yourself next time you get cottonmouth.

Its not such a dumb thing, seeing as the boss had big buds and ganja like lots of P during flower - phosphoric acid - it kinda makes sense.
If he's putting say 1 can in a 3 gallon bucket (or even around the plant if its outdoors) can't see it will do much harm. Anything can kill a plant in excess, even pure water.
btw, if you take 100ml (approx 105g) of water and add 25g sugar (heat it up to dissolve), you will still have 100ml liquid but now it weighs 130g so you could say it's 'only 75% water" and be correct.
