    Pollenation question

    Okay here is the problem.

I only have one small place to grow.

I have one big sativa decent quality but not important (bag seed) that is probably 1-2weeks from finishing.

Unfortunately she went nuts hermaphrodite about 3 weeks ago. Grew balls all over and pollinated herself. I tried my best to cut them all off but there were so many. I would have just killed her but she was my only female at the time and she has decent buds. Test smoke not bad as well.

So here is the real problem. I have three Low Ryderâ??s in the same place now. I have two nice males and one very nice female. I want to pollinate the female with the males but I donâ??t want any of that nasty sativa freak pollinating the female LR.

The female LR is just now showing preflowers. What is the earliest a female can be fertilized? Anyone have pictures? She was been clearly female for 4 days probably.

How long will the pollen stay around assuming I remove the sativa hermaphrodite?

I already plan to vacuum, blow out the closet but is there anything else I can do to remove the pollen.

Please help, real worried don't want to screw up the LR genetics and I really need a nice batch of LR seeds.

Any suggestions on pollinating the LR female with the males would be great!!

    Thanks everyone

    Pollenation question

    Still looking for help.
Hopefully garden knowm or moyba can come by
I could use some serious knowledge on this one.
Knowm you have really helped me before.

Maybe itâ??s a stupid question but I can't find it in history.

No real answers to how long pollen sticks around and when the earliest a plant can be pollinated.

I am not at all worried about outside pollination very unlikely.

    Pollenation question

    Hey mate.
sorry i cant answer ur questions... but if you want only 1 of ur plants to be partically pollinated, get a cotton swab and whipe a cluster on your male or hermie plant and then whipe it onto a female bud.

    Pollenation question

Yep I know that, thanks though.

Hermi not actually a problem anymore, I killed her out of paranoia (smoke pretty decent but bottom buds full of seeds, )

    Anyway the major questions.

    1) How long is pollen viable, say in a closet that has been blown out and vacuumed?

    2) How early can a female get pollinated i.e. what physical structures must be visible before she can be pollinated (when is she passed puberty and ready to mate).

I am not so worried anymore because I have two male LR next to the female and I am blowing/swabbing pollen on every day as well as saving some to apply latter. I figure law of mass should apply and most seeds should come from LR males genetics.

Maybe this would be better in breeding section, maybe and admin can move it.

    Pollenation question

    1) make sure you clean the room well and you should be good.

    2) The budding flowers collect the pollen, so when they've got flowers they can be pollonated.

    Pollenation question

marijuana pollen can survive for monthes mate , what u need to do is to move the low rider to a different place . if i am not mistaken lo rider will flower in 18/6 anyway ( actually i believe this to be the prefered way as 12/12 makes it finish to soon ) as soon as ur hermie finishes u need to brush , vaccum and then wash the room with a strong bleach solution before u put any other plants into flowering . also where u keep u low rider males u need to do the same . if u have ur low rider on 12 /12 i think u need to change the light cycle ( thats if it is on 12/12).
    I hope this keeps
if ur living on a prayer... ur living on your knee\'s..... no fear
