Sorry, another mold post

Alright, i just got back from a two week trip, and i take out my weed which was in a ziplock, but had one of those rehydration disks in it, dunno if you know what i'm talking about , it's a little metal disk that has like a few drops of water on it/in it and it keeps it from drying out. Well the weed is noticeably darker, and the thc crystlas look whiter, it's kinda crazy, and it really knocked me on my ass (but that just could have been do the 2 week break from it, and prob was) but anyhow, i'm nervous that theres some mold because one of the buds that i broke up there was like a bit of dust that like went into the air, and some of them feel like, dusty. Does that have to be mold? weed changes over time right? it sounds plausiable that the weed just coudl have changed texture/color due to being stuck in that box for the 2 weeks, w/o growing mold..

i dunno, basically i'm trying to see if i hve to throw out an ounce that seems to still smoke fine.

I've had something happn to me that was along the lines of what you're describing. I rehydrated some weed that had gotten a bit dry, and a few days later I noticed that sections were a bit whiter than usual. Thought it was mold, but smoked it anyway (in the name of science!). Seriously, got me just as high, and nothing bad happened. If there is actually mold on your weed, I'm sure the flame gets rid of most of the harmful bits.

However, if it starts to move and talk, then you got problems. :rasta:
