Red...White...and BOOM!! While stoned...

Alright so my sister sent home some money so that I could stop at my ol' bud's house last week to pick up a half of some mids from my dude for $60. No one was making a trip to Columbus back to my sister's apartment in Columbus until today, July 3rd. That is when Columbus has its fireworks show (which is pretty good I must say, called "Red White and Boom"). My mother, my brother, my girlfriend and myself were all going to go together to my sister's apartment and we would go to the fireworks from there after we hung out and visited for a bit. This is where my sis would get her bud. We get there pretty early and I show my sister the herb. She was expecting to get a half of the regular stuff for $60 but he was out of the norm so he gave me a deal on the really good stuff that I never buy and only smoke when he offers to smoke his own personal haha. She got a quarter of some hydroponic fruity smelling bud for $60 from Kentucky. Not bad I would say.

We eat at my sisters and its going alright, and then me and my girlfriend go out on High Street to get some Ice Cream. When we get back my sister's eyes are red as can be, incense are now burning, and theyre in my sisters bedroom. Its too obvious. I really thought my mom was smoking with my sister for a second but it turns out my sister was smoking a bowl of the stuff I supplied her with and she was already toasted and I got to smoke the rest of the bowl....which usually I would turn down but I definitely got high from it. It's like I smoked just enough that I could feel all of its effects but I wasn't out of it at all or zoned out. It was a sweet high. So after this we all leave to go to the fireworks. Let me tell you something....good fireworks, high, with girlfriend and family....pretty damn good time. The fireworks were out of this world. It looked like the fireworks were coming down on you ( I was laying on the bank with my girlfriend). Every time a big one went off you could feel the BOOM in your chest. The finale was intense. ALLLLLLLL those fireworks going off soo quickly felt like you were getting shot with a machine gun. Amazing.

I wonder if anyone else was there??? Or maybe saw them on TV? Hell, even heard of them?

i feel you on this one... july 4th's in my middleschool years... stoned as fuck watching the fireworks go off at the park, feeling the THUMP through the ground and through my chest as the fire work explodes. it really is amazing.

Im hoping tonight the firework display downtown still goes on. We cant light or own because of the drought so all outdoor burning and fireworks are banned. There is supposed to be storms tonight so they might shut it down, i hope they dont it will ruin the holiday

Yeah, there's supposed to be a fireworks show like, a 10 minute walk from where I live.. prolly going to bring my one-hitter and smoke it on the way.

Wow i forgot to post back last night but it was amazing. I drove down to grab a bite to eat at panchos mexican buffet but they were closed so i went to the mexican inn instead for grub and brew. When i left i thought the firework show was called off but then i seen others camping out on the side of the road so i stopped. It was quite the show, the finale was amazing with huge booms and lots of cool multi colored shells in the sky. Great night

Damn the 4th was cool, all the cops were down at the lake for the big firework display, and everybody else was in their backyard. I was walking down the fucking street smoking weed dude, it was so cool. It was like, for 1 beautiful night, weed was legal.
