Does a hermie produce hermie seeds?

Just because the buds had a lot of seeds in it does not mean it was a herm. It was probably a female plant that got powdered by a male that wasn't spotted and removed from the grow site. herm plants almost never leave any true buds to use because they have flowers and balls. The balls sprays powder everywhere and you would still see the opened balls on the bud that u smoke . Now about the seeds, I heard from many different sites that breeders use herm plants to produce femenized seeds. So hopefully, you have all female bagseeds if that was a hermed plant  ... Oh, I was just on gypsys' site and I see now that they have all the strains back up for the Nirvana Seeds Standard. Even if you go with the Doc, I really think u should try Papaya. Trust me, you can't go wrong with that strain ...

So because the strains they are showing are in stock? So should I order the Papaya and maybe the Sper skunk or Afghani? What else is good? I thought I wanted to try the Bubblicious.

Papaya is a must, but if you want skunk >_<, the name it self says it all. If you have a safe place to grow and good ventilation (which i don't have ), go for it. I also have Bubblicious, but I didnt grow it yet, maybe next year or earlier if theys go quick with my lates grow. I'm now growing Aurora Indica and som seed from Top Niravana Indoor Mix. I also have a papaya greming right now and it should be poping tomorrow. I think Afghani might be a good strain, it is in my next order from Gypsy Nirvana including Hindu kush and Blue Mystic. Go to this site: http://www.nirvana-shop.com/ and find the strains you want from Gypsy Nirvana. Its the Nirvana site that also sales seeds for a lot money money, Gypsy Owns. You can click on Indoor, Outdoor, White strains or w/e. I like the White strains best. Click on strain and then click on "See More Pictures" it should take you to a photo gallery where you can find all types of pictures about what strains you want if they have piCs, Bubblicious and Misty looks pretty damn good on that site  ...

Hermie plant seeds have a higher then normal percentage of being hermie them self. You need to pay closer attention to the environment of those plants.

They do have a higher percentage of being hermie over a seed that is pollinated by a male plant.

Thanks Zandor 4 answering. I was just curious. I just made an order through Nirvana 4 sum Papaya and Bubblicious and will be sending it out cash tomorrow and its being shipped to my friends house to him.Hooked up my 400w hps today. I also made home made reflector. Its just a proto-type, I just needed more lumens since I have 5 plants. heres 2 pix of my new setup. Any questions or suggestions would be deeply appreciated. I was thinking of adding a fan inside the reflector but I would need another fan across to pull the heat out, right?

Correct me if I am incorrect, but I think think the question you ask is just a little more complicated than what was answered. Keep in mind I have not conducted an controlled experiments in order to support my position.

I think there is a factor here of whether the seeds will produce hermies or not. I think if your hermaphridation was induced due to stress as some time during the flowering period then it is less likely to be a genetic predisposition. Where as if you had a stable enviroment and right from the onset of flowering you had herms then your likely hood of haveing seeds that produce herms is alot greater.

The answer to your question lies in the factual reason that Mj plants go hermaphrodite in the first place. The majority of the consensus is on the side of self genetic preservation and genetic propagation during times of undue stress. In other words the plant wants to carry on its genes and it doesn't think it will have adequate time to do so due to some outside stressing factor. The real question is what is happening at the genetic level. Does stressing a plant during various stages of veg or floral growth actually change
the genetic sequence or is it only a chemical change...kind of like a safety trigger. Is there an actual sequencing of genes that predetermines that a plant will be a hermaphrodite right from the get go.

Unfortunately, although I can understand all of the problems that are presented with these thoughts, I have not had the oppurtunity in life to be able to breed and manipulate growths to such an extent that I would be able to determine this for sure. Although I think my thought makes logical sense, until someone does a controlled experiment then we will not know for sure.
