    Milking the plant

I knew a guy back in the 80s who used to grow outside.

Instead of smoking the raw vegetative product or buds what he did was "milk the plant"

He told me that is how they do it in Afghanistan. They dont smoke the vegetative matter or buds.

What they do is wait until the buds start producing sticky resin, then they start from the bottom of the plant and gently roll the hands back and fourth and work to the top. After doing this with several plants the resin on the hands is rolled until it forms a ball. This is what they smoke.

The plants are milked several times during the season before dying as the resin would reappear weeks later.

He let me try milking the plants because I was curious.

After milking about 6 tall plants I had rolled a ball the size of a marble.

    It worked well.

This pure resin is very potent. Only two hits and I had trouble walking. Uncontrollable laughter. I think it was sativa.

Finger hash more specifically since it is rolled with the hands and not sifted...

This has been going on for hundreds of years...you havn't discovered some kind of revalation.
