I believe you may be a pedant , the reason I believe this is because you are obviously someone who was done for medical reasons and you feel sore about that (forced not choice), but I believe that what BA was trying to say was NOT that there are no medical reasons for doing it BUT that there are no medical reasons for doing it to a normal healthy child.
