yes, pots need to be shaded or kept out of direct sunlight. like jack said, it's best to get them into the ground as roots don't take heat very well. it's hot out here too and we have to water twice/day now...soon to be 3x/day once the heat of august arrives! and you have some nice bushes there which will require more water as they grow. i've found giving them less more times/day is better for them in high heat areas than just soaking them once or twice a day.

Reviewed by m.g. on . can you help? hi, my plants are now aboyt 6 weeks old, and are starting to get yellow leaves at the bottom. they go yellow and then crisp up, then eventaully fall of. there out side, the starin is pot of gold, and white russian. both are effected. i am watering them nearley every day as we are currently experiancing a serious heat wave. and feeding them with bio-gro liquid plant food at 5ml per 10liters of water once every 4 days. (ratio 8.0-2.0-6.0) cant work out if this is a naturall occuance as Rating: 5
