When can I switch lighting cycle???(pics enclosed)

Was just wondering. I've had my two plants under my light for 5 days 24/7. I just got my electric bill for this quart and its fucking ridiculous.

At what stage can I put them under 18/6??

    Thanks. pic's enclosed.

lol, Dude..You have to chose one or the other. You can switch to 18/6 now, but do it quick because its gettin older.. But when you switch, youre supposed to switch to 12/12 to induce flowering. Also, i noticed your plant is tied to a stick. What did it do, steal something? lol.. Man, try tieing yourself to a stick and standing under a bright ass light for half your life. Put a fan on it and it will develop a stronger stem. Try not to put the fan directly on it yet. Just so it gets a breeze. When it gets bigger you can aim it directly at it.

Listen man, I had a bad experience where my last attempt flopped big style. I don't know whether it was the heat of my light or my fan that fucked it up. So this time I thought fuck it "Im tieing the bastard down", whether its good for it or not I don't know but I don't wanna risk another flop.

I've got a rotating fan on it at the moment and I've raised my light.

What shall I do......untie the bastards and put them under 18/6 or what???

Tying them to a stick wont hurt it as long as you have it loosely tied. But as GRB said try using a fan first to strenghen the stem and then if you have to tie it to a stick. I would recommend 18/6 over 24/0.

ok I'll do that, but will it harm them if I put them under 18/6 after 5 days of 24/7

Some people say that there are no real differance between 24/7 and 18/6. They are both acceptable veg cycles. It will not harm your plant at all if you switch it to 18/6. The plant will still be getting all of the light that it needs to grow up healthy, plus in 18/6 not only do you save on electricity, but the plant has a chance to take a break from the relentless lights that have been pouring down on them all day.

Hope this helps, and finds you well.

    Peace

18/6 and 24/0 do the same good for the plant, but under 24/0 they grow a LITTLE faster, but 18/6 can save ur electric bill.
