OK. Don't know what provinces you guys are in, but hopefully it is Ontario. I work for a large landlord corporation and deal with this crap all the time.

julmanjulman - If the landlord has a family member moving in to the unit, he can request legally that you vacate. Without legal application and a legal notice from the Ontario Rental Housing Tribunal, he cannot legally make you move. If you were tricked into handing a signed letter to the landlord stating that you are moving, then I'm sorry, you have hung yourself and the only recourse would be leagl action against your landlord. You would have to prove that your landlord took advantage of you by using your disability against you (worth a shot in the dark).
