Cleaning up.

Well, I think I've reached that point where I'm beginning to lose interest in the things that I have fallen in love with over the past few years.

Psychadelics will always be a part of me. I will never say I won't do anything again...but I'm taking a break. I've experienced a lot, I've changed for the better, I've made some money, learned some shit, met some people, and gotten to travel all over just getting fucked up having a great time. But I feel like I've gotten all I can out of it at this point. I hate the fact that every weekend I'm just trying to find a fix. I waste a lot of money on having a good time...when I can have a good time without wasting the money. Life isn't about getting high, it's about living.

Marijuana, of course, will be my exception. And I'm even going to attempt to cut back on it. I spend too much time/money trying to buy weed.

My last journey, my last trip, will be this weekend. Going back to New Orleans. I will say goodbye to my alternate universe for a while, and try to get my life straightened out. I have a lot to do, and I feel like I'm wasting too much time.

I hear that. I suddenly became a dad and that pulled me up before I was ready. gave a whole lot of other opportunities and was for the better.Psycadelics had played havoc with my seratonin levels and i needed hard escapes so i turned to drinking and was playing with needles. I hated anti depressants coz they were just another pill to abuse. 10 zoloft was nice and floaty.
Still smoke but i reckon when my little mateys grown up i'll get into some mushies and other plants of wonder again.
Even now i have to watch how much i smoke coz ot can drain my motivation and keep me from doing what i wanna coz i get too lazy.

and all ya need to do is REMEMBER what you have just said when you are fiending for something. If you can't keep the promises that you make to yourself, you just can't keep promises period.
