this sort of thing isnt uncommon. cops are above the law. they take it away alot from what ive heard. id rather have that then get arrested anyway.

It isn't so much that they're above the law, it's the unwritten code that you don't rat out fellow officers. My father was a cop and he was no angel, and he knew of plenty others who were no angels either. But it's all about the 'brotherhood' and to rat is like the ultimate form of betrayal. Especially if you're just one of those cops that just comes in and does your job the way it should be done...when you rat, the downfall of the department and everything is all on your shoulders.

im walkin down the road comin from a party its about 2 in the morning and on a backroad smokin a blunt. out of no where this cop pulls up and rolls down his window, sees my fatass blunt and tells me to hop in. we went to the park (it was right around the corner) and we stop and start hotboxing the front seat of the pig mobile. after the blunt is goneand the car is smokey as hell the muthafucka leans over, opens the door, and literally kicked me out before speeding away into the dead of night
