    4th of July

Things i used to do on the 4th....

Drive to Wyoming/ Colorado state line and buy an (arsenal). some of my favorites are.....what are yours?

Air TRAVEL bottle rockes with water proof fuses
    Baby blommers, Jumping Jacks
    Mighty mite fire crackers
    thunder bombs
black cat bottle rockets, and fire crackers
Rat chasers....(basic bottle rocket no stick)
smoking cap sticks....they smoke and smoke then BAM....(water proof)
Roman Candles.....hold them and through fire out of your hand...nice
Whisler bottle rockets... shoot them a gross at a time.

We used to make Oxy, Acetalene Bombs..... Get a welders torch and get it burning white hot, then snuff it out on the cement.....put the gas into a 1 gallon milk jug. Plug hole in jug with bottle rocket. light the bottle rocket, and when it reports...........BAM.. you can feel the shock wave for a block.

Have a great, safe, Relaxing 4th of July....God Bless America.....

I remember bottle rocket wars, too! We used to divide up into two teams on either side of a bridge out in the country, and we launched the rockets at each other from our opposing sides of the bridge. We fired a good many along the flat road itself to aim at the opposing team's feet. We liked to see them hop and dance to avoid the surface rockets as well as dodge the airborne ones. I can't believe we did that now that I'm Mrs. Safety First. It's a wonder no one lost any body parts.

This year in the part of Texas where I'm from, fireworks are banned. People can't even set up stands and sell them. We've had two years of drought, and the fire danger is too high.

Thanks for replying Guys and Gals.....

This 4th will be chill for me.. I still will break out a couple bottle rockets for the kids and blow up some stuff......Like BG in texas, we are under a NO FIREWORKS ban.......... fire danger. If a baby bloomer went into a juniper bush next to a house around here, it would be up in smoke in about 2 seconds.

I like the sound of the Ninja roll.......... i cant tell if it soudns like Sushi, or a martial arts move.............lol

what aout those military style flashers, and smoke bombs....... those are fun too.

I like the dry ice bombs.......those are cool FriendOwl........

have you ever seen a canon made from Carbide rocks?
