stick with the 2 ballasts, you will get more light coverage..It's like having those 2 equal to 1000 anyways, but with more area coverage, and less heat problems.

The closet is 4' x 8' and I am debating between one 1000w with a linear track mover or two lights - 400w and a 600w which I already have.
