OK, quick answer, baby is crying and wife can't find the makeup. Venting with fans is the best for the most part, but if that is not an option I can think of two things that might help. 1. I have read in a thread around hear about an AC that had a tube of some sort that you ran from the window that connected to the unit allowing you to place the AC in or by the grow room. Find one at Home,D or Lowes, search threw the bboard threads and such to find more details. Also, very, very low budget, take two 2 liter bottles, fill them with water frees them then put them in front of a fan in the room, kind of a swamp cooler affect, this works in some situations, but not all, and it is not always convenient, takes up more room and you always have to refreeze the bottles.
BlueBear Reviewed by BlueBear on . I have a heat problem! Please Help!!!! The temp. outside is 84 degrees, but I am in a basement and it is 12am here. I am growing in a closet that is 2ft long x 3-1/2ft wide x 5ft high and I just barely bought a temp and humidity meter and my readings are way too high. My temp read 93-95 degrees with hum. at 47 and I am running 150 hps for three plants and 2 100w cfl's for my sprouts. I have a fan blowing on the light to remove the heat above the plants and another fan circulating the air inside and it seems sumwhat breezy in there Rating: 5
