There was a special on History channel the other night about Marijuana. VERY informative and this "could" be some of the ammo your looking for. Try a google search.....she may be suprised that this was the "drug" of choice used by possibly her parents or grandparents.

Make sure you tell her that if in the event you are an avid user and your whole day revolves around it, your demotivated and nothing else that consumes your day will ever be the same considering you stop doing it for your obsession with marijuana.Not like if any of that was true I would expect you to admit it anyway.

Also although it is illegal for a reason and your mom whole heartely agrees to let you do it I bet you won't make sure she understands how many fines, and court dates, and not to mention the costs for those court dates could burden her life.Not to mention the money flying out her pocket.

If she trys to pull the "adictive" trick you can say it's not. While this may not sound very convincing it is true. Other drugs like LSD and other hard drugs trigger a response in a certain section of the brain (can't remeber right now) that leads to addiction. Cannibinoids do not trigger that section of the brain.

You could also say that it has historically, worldwide and in America, been used as a safe and consistent medical herb. George Washington grew hemp for both the fiber and medical use. The plant was so vital to the early American life that in some villages a fine would be administered for not growing the hemp plant. Upon its day of prohibition the AMA and many other textile, paint, and other companies were not notified. The AMA and many certified doctors would prescribe Marijuana for many things from disentary to simple headaches. The AMA was outraged at the tactics Harry Anslinger used to get the plant delegalized. Anslinger used racism and the fear of unknowledge to get the plant delegalized. The U.S. government has never spent as much money trying to find facts against a object and found such few results than with the cannabis plant.

I have more facts in a book but I am writing this on the go so I don't have everything with me. Just speak honestly and truthfully. Try to wheel and deal and say that if your grades don't slip or anything that you should be allowed to partake in the smoking of the fine erb.

You can educate yourself and your parents about this but, as long as you are living under their roof, they still have the final say in the matter.

I don't think that anybody that is young enough to be "grounded", as you are according to another thread you posted, should be using the stuff. Even the most pro-pot organizations and knowledgable individuals believe that it's use should be limited to adults.

However, if you move out on your own you'll be able to do as you please.
