Love heals a lot of problems, mental illness, depression. I struggled a little with self consciousness in high school, it's pretty common, but, I think I had a bit more of a touch of it than most. Hard to believe, I was gorgeous. A perfect specimen of maleness, and irresistably attractive to the opposite sex. I was absolutely unbelievable.

Absolutely unbelievable?.....yeah.

The thoughts of a loving individual wishes well toward and for another, Celebrates their successes. Relationships thrive in this kind of environment.
It's like making investments in the other person. a wealth is gained, by the investor.

The reciprocal ~ Many marriages fail.

Some take withdrawals constantly, the relationship operating in continues deficit....This is a very big deal.

(1)Where your treasure is, there your heart will be also. My marriage was a bit dull 5-6 years ago, I got rid of my extra cars. Started to make investments in my wife, gratefully in time. Bought a new place (new to us). Remodeled it, I insisted that she make all design decisions. She was very nervous, uncomfortable, I encouraged her. She loves it. It is cool, there's also other things.

She now has a renewed confidence, questions herself much less. Went back to school ~ out top of her class. Beyond this I still have a wealth gained by investments in that girl. I adore the girl, to some degree, because my heart has followed my wealth. Ironically, It sounds aloittle selfish.

Actually theres more to it, she grew in adorableness ~ yes Bird ~ adorableness.

Selfishness is jealous of others victories. Imagine a tick and a dog scenario. How about two ticks and no dog. Marriage explosions waiting to happen.

Love offers forgiveness ~ selfishness, takes retribution.

Selfishness is like a pop up, that won't go away. It hijacks your browser. Nothing else can be viewed. It is the mirror opposite.

I started to deliberately turn off my own self concerns, "how do I look" "am I going to be perceived as cool or fun"? When I close that running program, the coolness and the fun, the peace of mind, can be enjoyed. others can also enjoy me.
